Technology for Hospitals

When thyroid diseases are treated with radio iodine (131J) in the nuclear medical departments of hospitals a large quantity of radioactive isotopes is produced. The radioactive wastewater may not be discharged into the public sewer, but it must be stored until the radioactivity has decayed below the legally defined value.

Roediger offer decontamination plants which are individually designed according to the requirements of the respective hospital.
