RoeVac®Vacuum Systems – History and future Technology

Roediger Vacuum GmbH has its origin as a tinsmith’s workshop founded by the guild master Peter Roediger in 1842. After 1945 the business was reconstructed and Roediger became one of the world’s leading companies in the field of wastewater and sludge treatment.
In 1978 vacuum technology became part of Roediger’s product line. In the same year Roediger commissioned the first RoeVac® vacuum sewer system. Vacuum technology is used for collecting and conveying wastewater in domestic, commercial and industrial areas, for both outdoor and indoor systems. Currently more than 300 vacuum sewer systems are installed in different locations all over the world. They all give evidence of the reliable operation of the world's leading Roediger’s technology.
Roediger Vacuum GmbH belong to Bilfinger Berger Umwelttechnik group of companies. Roediger’s headquarter is located in Hanau near Frankfurt am Main.Within easy reach of Germany’s largest Airport our international business activities benefit from access to this global gateway. Engineering, sales & marketing as well as customer service and the commercial departments are also located in Hanau.
In 1991 Roediger reconstructed and expanded the centre for development, production and service in Tostedt (near Hamburg). In November 2002 the third production hall including an affiliated training centre was inaugurated. Qualified professional staff and ample space enable enhancement of our existing, and development of new products and systems. At Tostedt Roediger can demonstrate to partners and customers all the advantages and peculiarities of vacuum technology.
